I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Human Services with experience across inpatient psychiatry, crisis intervention, behavioral health services, community engagement, and nonprofit program development. Throughout my career, I have conducted psychosocial assessments, collaborated with interdisciplinary treatment teams, coordinated discharge planning, and provided recovery-oriented care for adults experiencing a wide range of behavioral health conditions, including co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
I have had the privilege of working with adults across the lifespan, including older adults (65+), supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, trauma-related conditions, adjustment disorders, substance use disorders, and other complex behavioral health needs. I believe every individual deserves compassionate, person-centered care that recognizes their strengths, values, and unique life experiences.
In addition to my clinical work, I have contributed to nonprofit and community-based initiatives through program development, grant writing, strategic partnerships, and resource coordination to expand access to behavioral health and supportive services. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to improving not only individual outcomes but also the systems and communities that support them.
As Director of Social Work, I am passionate about supporting the professional growth and clinical development of social workers through consultation, evidence-based practice, and ethical decision-making. I believe strong clinical practice is built on curiosity, collaboration, accountability, and lifelong learning, and I am committed to fostering a culture of excellence in behavioral health care.
My doctoral capstone evaluated the implementation of a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program for healthcare professionals, reflecting my commitment to clinician well-being, research-informed practice, and advancing the quality of behavioral health services. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), strengths-based practice, person-centered care, and trauma-informed principles into my clinical framework.
I am committed to empowering social workers to grow with confidence while advancing high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health care through compassionate leadership, professional development, and lifelong learning.
